Unfortunately more Friday ticket sales of $8.2 million are worse than expected. The opening weekend of Voyage of the Dawn Treader is critical to the film’s success, but we can do something to make sure that low predictions don’t become a reality. The only way that future Narnia books will be made into films is if the Narnia Fans join together and ensure that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a success. Here are 10 easy things that you can do to make sure that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is successful enough for there to be future Narnia movies.

Deadline estimates that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has sold $9 million which would give the movie a projected opening weekend of $26.3 million. If Deadline’s numbers are accurate the Voyage of the Dawn Treader may not be successful enough for Fox to make more Narnia movies, but there is something you can do about it. Opening weekend sales are a critical way to measure the success of a film. If you would like to ensure that The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a success and that more Narnia Movies are made I strongly advise you to see the movie this weekend.

Today the Austrailian Government has rated the Voyage of the Dawn Treader PG for "Mild violence and scary scenes". They have also revealed that the film will have a duration of 112 minutes or one hour and fifty two minutes. The Austrailian Government's film classification website's page about The Voyage of the Dawn Treader can be found here. The British Board of Film Classification listed the film's runtime on their website as 115 minutes and rated the film PG because it "contains moderate fantasy violence and scary scenes". Last month narniaexpert.com/ reported that the Motion Picture Association of America rated the film PG "For some frightening images and sequences of fantasy action." There have been some discrepancies between sources so the duration may not be entirely accurate. The version of the film I saw last week (read my comments about the film here) was 112 minutes long.
